Scarce 3-cup set from the Military Reservist Association.
These are pewter cups with an embossed membership badge in the bowl.
The original paulonia box is inscribed 'Gift from the Imperial Military Reservist Association,
Eizan Port Branch'. Eizan was a city in southern Korea, but it merged with Naju in 1981.
Before and during the war there was a large population of Japanese living here.

1910, the second shows the port in 1940, and the third shows a Japanese-style house that
still stands.

Inscribed 'Military Reservist Association, Minami-Oe Branch'.
There may be other places named Minami-Oe in Japan, but the
most well-known one is in Osaka.
Really nice, high-quality sake cup. In the bowl is the Military Reservist badge. It
appears to have been hand-painted.
Inscribed 'Gift from the Military Reservist Association, Kurose War Group'.
