Army, Provisional Military Logistics Communications Unit.'
The Yalu River Army was formed on January 12, 1905 and disbanded on January 20,
1906. It was stationed on the Korean peninsula and in Manchuria. It took part in the
Battle of Mukden (1905), and the main units in this army at the time of its
disbandment were the 11th Division, the Auxiliary 1st Division, The Yalu River Army
Field Communication Unit, 1st Infantry Artillery Independent Battalion, and the
Auxilary Infantry 59th Regiment.
The phrase 'military logistics [heitan]' rarely appears on cups.
The design includes a carrier pigeon, which is very rare. Also a Signal Unit flag and
emblem, communication lines, and a wind sock.
