Lacquered wood cup with the IJN Anchor & Blossom, within which is the insignia
for the
Suikousha. This group was formed in 1876 by the Ministry of the Navy and
its chief officer was the current Navy Minister. The group served as a meeting
place for naval officers and also sponsored various study groups.
