Galloping horse with a battle flag and the Imperial Guard standard.
Inscribed 'Imperial Guard Cavalry, Kitamura.'
Imperial Guard page 8
Inscribed 'Imperial Guard Wireless Signal Unit, 1st Regiment.'
Inscribed 'Imperial Guard Cavalry, 3rd Regiment.'
Inscribed '4th Imperial Guard, The Glory of the Country,
Commemorative.'
Inscribed 'Imperial Guard Air Corps 5th Regiment, Discharge
Commemorative.'
Excellent hand-painted design. Gold cherry blossom petals decorate the
rim, and the Imperial Guard insignia is above crossed flags. The flag to
the right is probably the IG standard.

Inscribed 'Discharge Commemorative.'
Imperial Guard emblem and Engineer insignia.
Inscribed 'Imperial Guard Engineer Battalion, Cadet Umebayashi.'
Lacquered wood cup with the IG emblem and crossed standards in gold and silver gilt.
Inscribed 'Gift from His Highness the Crown Prince Commemorative.'
The outside of the box has a hand-written inscription: 'Tougu Highness [i.e., the Crown Prince], Attached to
the Imperial Guard Unit, Commemorative.'
The label on the inside of the box lid reads 'Record, One Sake Cup, His Highness the Crown Prince, For
service in the Army Infantry Imperial Guard Unit, Infantry 1st Regiment, On Taisho 1 [19152] October 12, all
the members of the Imperial Guard Division 1st Regiment performed their duty well and each member is
awarded this commemorative item. Taisho 1, October.'

Wonderfully hallmarked cup. Note that the Crown Prince here is Hirohito, who was only 11 years old at the
time. The Taisho Emperor took the throne in July when his father died, so this event happened soon after. I
imagine it was some sort of imperial event where the Imperial Guard served as security.
Nicely hand-painted flag, rifle, and mum crest.
Inscribed 'Imperial Guard, Victorious Return, Hanaoka Tokutaro.'
Lacquered wood cup. Gold gilt Army star, crossed bombs, and cherry blossom branches.
Inscribed: 'Meiji 37-8 [1904-5] Years War Service Commemorative, [Imperial Guard 1st Artillery?].'
