| Lacquered wood cups with gold gilt patriotic phrases. The two smaller cups actually make up one slogan: kennin jikyuu, which means 'dogged perseverance'. The large cup has this slogan: kyokoku icchi, which means 'United to Give to the Country.' On the reverse of the largest cup, this is inscribed: 'Japan/China Incident Commemorative' and 'Fukushima Prefecture.' |
