Military Caps
Lacquered wood sake cup. Inscribed 'Conquer
Russia, Victorious Return Commemorative'.

Inscribed 'Yamato damashii [Japanese Spirit].'
Here are a few items with military caps in the designs. For some
reason, caps were rarely included in the military symbol canon.
Perhaps they were not considered visually dynamic. Anyway,
these do appear once in a while but they have no common theme.
Rare cup with a field cap, hardly ever seen on cups for some
unknown reason.
Inscribed 'China Incident, Victorious Return Commemorative'. It
looks like there was a name and the rank of a soldier, but it has
been rubbed out.
Lacquered wood sake cup tray. Inscribed 'Conquer Russia
Commemorative'. Note that the cup above has a similar design,
though the exact same stamp has not been used here.
Hand-painted Army cap and rifle.
I cannot read the inscription. The red kanji is a name: Shibuya.

Inscribed 'Victorious Return Commemorative.'
Nicely hand-painted design with a sword, Rising Sun badge, flag, and dress cap.
Inscribed 'Infantry 39th Regiment, Discharge Commemorative, Kobayashi.'
Rare fukizumi (blown ink) blossoms with a field cap design.
Inscribed 'Youth Brigade Draft Commemorative, Matsuo.'
