Lacquered wood cup with the Rapid Firing Gunners Badge in thick gold gilt. Inscribed 'Gunsight Championship Award, 2nd Place, Artillery 8th Regiment, 3rd Company, Meiji 34 [1901] September 6th.'

Lacquered wood cup with an Army Sharpshooting Proficiency Badge in gilt. Inscribed 'Meiji 30- [190-], 5th Division, Sharpshooting Award Championship, Prize.' Note that there is a space between 30 and 'year,' which appears as though the date hasn't been completed. (It is possible that Meiji 30 [1897] is the date, though.) The cup to the right has the same description, but the gilt is a bit thicker.
See the cup to the left.

A very rare artillery shell sake cup with a Army Sharpshooting Proficiency badge as the base. These go on the artillery shell bottles as a cap and as a cup. Although one would like to have the bottle, too, the cup stands alone well. See this page on my site for an example: EXAMPLE.
