Air Corps tokkuri. Inscribed 'Qiqihar Air Corps, Yamashita'. From 1931 until 1945 Qiqihar was an important military base for the Japanese control of northeastern China. A major mustard gas tank leftover from the Second Sino-Japanese War buried underground was accidentally damaged in 2003. It caused major injuries and one death.

Air Corps 2nd Regiment

Extremely rare Navy cup with airplane, which you will hardly ever see. This is only the 2nd one I have ever found. The design shows a plane and in the background is Mt. Fuji, a symbol of Japan. The characters read 'Navy, Discharge Commemorative, Okamoto.'
The pattern has an airplane and pine trees. Rare to find airplanes in color. Inscribed 'Cadet Tsuda.'

Rare Air Corps cup with two planes. Inscribed '3rd Air Corps, Discharge Commemorative'.

Here is a large container of some sort. The pattern shows two fighter planes above the clouds. (One plane on either side.) This is from the Mitsubishi factory, which was notorious for its wartime use of forced labor, and of course is famous for producing the most famous plane in Japanese history, the Zero fighter. Inscribed 'Showa 17 [1942] June, Kumamoto Factory Groundbreaking Ceremony' and the Mitsubishi logo is in the center. I am not sure what kind of container this is, but it has handles on the side. It could have had a lid, too, but I'm not sure.

Air Corps 1st Regiment
Air Corps 5th Regiment

Air Corps 1st Regiment

Air Corps 3rd Regiment

Inscribed 'Kanto-gun [Kwantung Army], 12th Air Corps, Victorious Return Commemorative, Watanabe'. |
Inscribed 'Discharge Commemorative' and on the reverse 'Air Corps 3rd Regiment, 2nd Division, Terada'.
