Rare fighter plane design. This bottle is a bit uncommon, too. It is a bit shorter than most tokkuri and has blue underglaze decoration on the neck, and white embossed cherry blossoms on the body. Light crazing in the glaze. Inscribed 'Discharge Commemorative, 1st Air Corps, Sugiyama.'

Fairly rare Air Corps cup from the Japanese-designated capital of Manchukuo: Shinkyou (literally, 'New Capital'). Now called Changchun. Inscribed 'Shinkyou, 12th Air Corps, Discharge Commemorative.'

Detailed Army pilot badge. Inscribed 'Air Corps 5th Regiment, Commemorative.'
Embossed Army tank and plane. Also a painted plane. Inscribed 'Victorious Return Commemorative, 12th Air Corps, 1st [Division?], Mano Superior Private.'

Lacquered wood cup with a gilt fighter plane, this one being the Kawanishi H6K also called the Type 97 large flying boat. Inscribed 'Kawanishi Large Flying Boat Completion Commemorative.' Since this plane was first introduced in 1938, we can confidently date the cup to the same year.

Rare design. Below the bird is a pilot badge of some sort. Inscribed 'Air Corps 4th Battalion, Discharge Commemorative, Ishigaki.'
Beautiful pale green bottle with an embossed fighter plane and windsock. There are some kanji embossed, too. They are faint, but they can be read. They say 'Mie Air Corps Unit, Air Corps Division Commemorative.' The only Air Corps at Mie was a Navy Air Corps training center. It was established on August 1 1942 and was bombed so heavily in February 1945 that most of the cadets were transferred to other places.

Nicely painted fighter plane design. Inscribed: 'Air Corps 5th Regiment, Okabe.'
Rare hand-painted fighter plane design. Blue underglaze design on the neck. Inscribed: 'Air Corps 2nd Regiment, Discharge Commemorative, Matsui.'
